How it works
From a failing sender to a verified fix.
Every email your business sends carries your domain name. Receiving mail servers check a few public settings to confirm it really comes from you. When a service you use, such as a newsletter or billing tool, is missing from those settings, its email can land in spam or be turned away. SendBop finds those gaps and helps you close them, so customer conversations and day-to-day work keep moving.
The three settings, in plain words
SPF: who may send
A list of the services allowed to send email for your domain. A service missing from the list looks like an impostor.
DKIM: a signature
A signature on each email that shows it came from your domain and was not changed on the way.
DMARC: your instructions
Receivers accept an email as yours when SPF or DKIM confirms it for the domain in the From address; one is enough. DMARC tells them what to do when neither does, and asks them to send you daily reports.
Five steps, one record of what happened.
Add a domain
Yours, or a client's once they authorize you. Add one record to show you control it, then send your DMARC reports to SendBop. Your current setup keeps working.
Read the reports
Receivers report daily which servers sent email as your domain and which checks passed. SendBop names the services behind them and says how complete the reports are.
Investigate
A failing service opens an investigation: what is known, what is uncertain and the question only you can answer, such as “do you use this service?”
Approve an exact change
SendBop shows the record before and after. A person with authority approves that exact version.
Verify
SendBop checks the published record and the next reports, and only then marks the change done.
For your team
One view across your domains, with investigations and approvals per domain or client. Client contacts approve only their own changes.
Hosted records (optional)
Delegate SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS and TLS-RPT names to SendBop, and it serves the records you approve. Otherwise you publish the records it shows you, and it checks them.
What is not included
No staffed email consultancy, emergency response, mailbox access or sending service. Optional later features are listed as planned on the capability status page.
