Documentation Get started
Get started with SendBop
SendBop shows which services send email as your domain, whether that mail passes authentication as receiving mail servers report it, and helps you fix SPF, DKIM and DMARC with changes you approve. This guide takes a new account to its first reports.
Check your domain
Open Domains in the workspace. With no domains yet, the page starts with a public check: enter your domain and SendBop reads its published SPF, DMARC, MTA-STS, TLS reporting and BIMI records. The check needs no ownership proof and changes nothing. Anyone can run the same check without an account at /check.
Add it for monitoring
Under the check, choose Add domain for monitoring. Your own domains need no client record: every account has a workspace for its own domains. If you manage domains for other organizations, add those from Client management instead, after recording each client's authorization.
Verify access, activate, connect reports
The domain page shows three setup steps and keeps your place if you leave:
- Verify domain access: publish one TXT record SendBop gives you, then choose Check record.
- Activate monitoring: the domain counts toward your plan. The free plan holds one domain.
- Connect reports: add SendBop's report address to your DMARC record. Your existing report recipients stay.
What to expect
Receivers send reports about once a day, each covering the day before. Until the first report arrives, results show as unknown, not as passing. DNS checks show what is published; reports show what receivers saw.
